1 private room in a 2 bed room apartment

Hi,

We are a BU graduate-student couple looking to rent out a bedroom in our two-bedroom apartment. It’s a great place, and I personally handle the maintenance and improvements. The kitchen has French doors to help block odors and includes a new...
dishwasher and an Allen industrial-grade air purifier. The entire unit is well lit, with additional vanity lighting that I installed.

The living room is well furnished with a TV, couch, and a communal study table. The bathroom is clean, bright, and well ventilated, with a fan and a window that stays half-open almost 24/7 to help prevent odors and mold. Your bedroom is furnished with a full-size bed, has a small closet, and faces the street with lots of sunlight and a nice view of Commonwealth Ave. The unit also has a patio where we like to relax and occasionally have friends over.

We’re looking for a BU student—preferably a graduate student—to join us. This is a focused, “locked-in” environment: we spend most of our time studying and working on our business. We don’t throw parties or play loud music. We prefer a quiet, private space so everyone can stay productive and focused on their career or graduate studies.

Smoking (including 420) is allowed only on the patio, and you must be mindful of the smell. Please do not smoke indoors—this is a firm, non-negotiable requirement.

Please no loud music.

We are sensitive to artificial scents (e.g., candles, artificial fragrances, and non-natural cleaning products) due to allergies and thyroid issues. We clean using natural alternatives such as water with salt and vinegar, and I do my best to keep the unit both well ventilated and warm during the winter.

No dogs allowed, but cats are okay.

Utilities are split among three people. Heat and hot water are included.
